This collection has been researched in depth on an international level.
It has been viewed by many people around the world and was featured in magazines, TV and radio programs. Many of the professionally framed photographs were on display in the Capetown, South Africa restaurant "Marilyn's"
A re-seller of this package of collectibles should be able to net far in excess of $110,000.
This would appeal to people with storefront properties.
How Important is Marilyn Monroe TODAY???
Well, one example from August 2009 is that more than one bidder offered $4.5 MILLION dollars, and more, to purchase the crypt above Marilyn Monroe's final resting place at the Westwood Village Memorial Park Cemetery in Los Angeles.
Apparently, spending an eternal rest next to Marilyn Monroe is in great demand.
The original owner, Richard Poncher, who died over 20 years ago, bought the crypt from Joe DiMaggio. However, his wife Elsie, elected to put the crypt up for sale to help pay off her mortgage debts.
This collection would be a great addition to a Museum or Exhibit. There are Marilyn Monroe exhibits around the world that charge a fee to enter. Adding this huge collection of material could only make the display better.
